Key personnel

Christine Joyce – Managing Director
As the former commercial director of Cego Galvanizing, Christine has the business acumen and organisational skills that are essential to running an efficient association. Christine has more than 10 year’s experience managing trade association groups and events including the British Tyre Manufacturer’s Association, TyreSafe, Tyre Recovery Association and The British Rubber and Polyurethane Products Association.

Peter Taylor OBE – Association Secretary
Peter Taylor is an experienced industry veteran with worldwide experience. Originally from a marketing background he has enjoyed a long and prestigious career in the international tyre industry and in trade association management. Peter is also a prolific writer on industry matters and sits on a number of official committees. He received an OBE in 2009.

Diane Berry
Diane has worked in the event industry for more than 25 years. As Special Events Director within a business travel organisation, organising overseas government Trade Missions into the Middle East and Asia, to later working on large incentive travel schemes for up to 2,000 delegates, with corporate giants such as Oracle, Veritas, Shell, Nissan and many other blue-chip companies. Diane founded Event Directions to focus her wealth of experience in all aspects of event management on her own clients and her creativity and understanding of a client’s brief and requirements are key strengths.

Danny Rughoobeer – Marketing communications
Danny has a wealth of marketing communications and PR experience gained both in-house and agency side with some of the world’s leading motorsport and automotive businesses. His strategic insight and practical abilities provide a highly-effective communications service. From consultancy to determine the most appropriate strategy, through to delivery of creative and powerful programmes. Danny can help associations and other organisations deliver their messages effectively.

Danny has provided communications expertise for a diverse range of organisations including TyreSafe, Prodrive, Delphi, Ministry of Defence and many others.
