CJAM Group, the award-winning marketing and association management agency based in Colchester, has appointed Richard Ward as Marketing Director as the demands of its expanding client portfolio grow apace. Richard joins CJAM Group with 25 years’ experience at senior level in integrated B2B and B2C marketing, on both agency and client-side. He is a hands-on creative professional who will complement the existing marketing & PR team and bring fresh insights to the benefit of both clients and employees alike.
Richard comes to CJAM from Simplyhealth Professionals where he was Director of New Professional Propositions, involved in generating and supporting new business. Previously, he was Head of Marketing at Denplan and has worked at agencies including McCann Erickson, Fox Murphy and Burrows, directing clients including Aviva, Barclays, Barratt Homes and Denplan. Richard’s agency experience has encompassed a variety of sectors including financial and professional services; healthcare; charity; and retail. He is passionate about response-driven marketing, great creativity, and brave ideas that help brands cut though the noise to reach their customers. As Head of Marketing for Denplan, he directed cross-channel B2B and B2C campaigns including social, digital, direct mail, sales promotion and TV campaigns, focusing on insight-driven creative work that creates impact and response.
