Associations and membership organisations have the opportunity to unite and encourage community during this difficult phase.

This will help to dispel fear and uncertainty and encourage your members to think outside the box regarding continuing to sustain and even grow their businesses.

Members’ feedback

Why not take this opportunity to launch a membership survey specific to the impact of COVID-19 to help strengthen your membership offer and support your members. It will give your association unique and untold insight about how the virus is specifically impacting your members and your industry.

Shared knowledge

Set up online communities for members to converse and share knowledge and resources. You can find out more about how these can support your member engagement strategy here.

Support your industry

Provide your members with additional resources to help prop up your industry. These could include email templates, social media toolkits and online webinar access to help encourage continued sales, content consumption and raise the profile of your members with their customers. Ultimately, by helping to support the ongoing survival of your industry despite the disruption, your association will be best placed to grow during and after the impact of COVID-19.

Guidance for Better Mental Health

The COVID-19 pandemic has generated a wealth of challenges for businesses and associations worldwide, and membership organisations continue to work hard to provide optimum value and opportunity for members.

As such, we would like to share the following guide for association staff, management and members to help recognise some of the indicators of declining or affected mental health as a result of the pandemic.

The resource has been shared by the Community Outreach team at Rehab 4 Addiction and we would like to pass on the resource in the hope that it may help anyone who needs guidance or support with mental health challenges during and after this period.

We want your feedback
