CJAM sponsor ‘Buisness Man Of The Year’ Awards

The Managing Director of leading Essex-based marketing agency CJAM is set to decide who will be crowned as Colchester’s ‘Business Man of the Year’. Christine Joyce, herself a winner of two ‘Excellence in Marketing’ awards, is sponsoring the prestigious award category to show support for the achievements of fellow Colchester businesses. She will review the entries, interview the shortlisted candidates and select the lucky winner, presenting him with his award at the Colchester Business Awards Ceremony in December. Joyce will also speak at the event about the qualities demonstrated by this year’s finalists and what it takes to be an entrepreneurial business leader.

“Running a successful small business takes determination, vision and energy,” says Joyce. “There are some great businesses in Colchester and I’m looking forward to giving credit to a few individuals who are really making their companies tick. Local award ceremonies provide a great opportunity for the local business community to come together and celebrate each other’s achievements and this year’s Colchester Business Awards promises to be no exception.”

This year’s Business Man and Business Woman of the Year winners will be announced at a glittering ceremony on 5th December at the Charter Hall in Colchester. Last year’s Business Man winner was Steve Austin of software solutions company Junari Ltd, while Suzannah Howard of independent NHS team Enable East won the Business Woman award.

Joyce herself was shortlisted for the ‘Business Woman of the Year’ award at the 2013 Essex Business Awards, and her agency CJAM won the ‘Excellence in Marketing’ award category at both the 2013 Colchester Business Awards and Colchester Business Excellence Awards.
