International Forecourt Standards Forum chooses CJ Association Management

The International Forecourt Standards Forum (IFSF) has appointed award winning association management company, CJ Association Management (CJAM), to provide a full suite of membership, management and administration services, becoming the latest international association to choose CJAM.Adding to its diverse portfolio of existing clients, CJAM will administer all aspects of running IFSF, delivering specialist services including secretariat, accountancy and growing IFSF’s worldwide membership of fuel retailers and suppliers of forecourt products and services, which currently includes BP, ExxonMobil, Shell and Total. CJAM will be responsible for developing and implementing the association’s marketing and membership communication strategy.

CJAM will also co-ordinate and host the annual IFSF conference, which brings together the association’s membership and welcomes a host of international delegates and speakers from across Europe, Asia and North America.

“We’re delighted to be working with IFSF,” comments Christine Joyce, managing director of CJ Association Management. “We have extensive experience of managing global associations in technically challenging industries, and we’re excited to have the opportunity with IFSF to work alongside members including some of the world’s biggest oil companies to develop new standards and best practice for the forecourt sector.”

Established in 2008, CJAM provides a host of secretariat, management and administrative support services for a wide range of associations across the UK and beyond. The company’s expertise and outsourced approach helps associations run efficiently, develop their membership and improve their member communications, while streamlining their operations.

Pressure on financial and personnel resources has led to increased demand for association management services in recent years, as associations have sought increasingly creative ways to improve engagement with their members while also delivering enhanced value for money.

“Outsourced association management shouldn’t be seen purely a cost saving exercise,” continues Joyce. “We strive with our clients to run their associations more efficiently, and to use our experience to share knowledge and impart best practice and creativity inspired by our relationships with other similar organisations.”
