TyreSafe summer campaign

CJAM launches summer tyre safety campaign

CJAM has launched an integrated campaign spanning social media, print and press to raise awareness of the importance of checking tyres before travelling in the summer.

With an anticipated rise in staycations, as a result of Brexit and the Coronavirus pandemic, the UK’s roads will be busier, with drivers who may not have used their vehicles much in the preceding months.

With loaded boots and families in tow, drivers are reminded to ACT – check air pressure, condition and tread, to help reduce the risk of tyre related incidents.  The campaign provides additional information about  basic tyre checks and the added dangers of driving with a loaded car on busy roads.

More tyre related incidents occur in the summer months than any other time of year, and the campaign seeks to reach an audience on and offline, and includes video, imagery, press outreach and stakeholder leverage.

CJAM worked on behalf of the client, a national road safety charity, to create visual and video assets that carry the message ‘Wherever you want to be, be tyre safe’.

The graphic design and video editing, along with the social media management and press and website outreach is all handled in house by the CJAM marketing and communications team, who are well versed in marketing within the charity sector. As registered members of Charity Comms the team continue to deliver best practice and excellence in the sector.
