First charities benefit from contactless Penny for London scheme

Ten London charities and social enterprise projects have benefited from contactless donations made by Londoners on the Transport for London network and participating retailers in the Penny for London scheme.

Supported by the Mayor’s Fund for London, a total of £30,000 has been awarded to the Evening Standard’s Dispossessed Fund, Magic FM’s Cash for Kids, the Mayor’s Music Fund and seven local charities across the city.
