Outsourcing has become essential to many businesses over the past 20 years, and particularly in recent times with employers often tending to favour outsourcing over engaging full-time staff. Associations typically outsource membership management, administration, marketing and accounting functions to specialists, freeing up in-house resource to develop strategy, plan for future events and address policy matters.
ELSA, the European Life Settlement Association, has appointed CJAM to provide a range of Association Management services.
CJAM was selected from several possible competitors because of its proven expertise and existing client list together with the experience and professionalism of the team.
A UK-based association, ELSA represents global companies involved in the niche financial market of Life Settlements. Its focus is promoting best practice and the positive development of the European life settlement industry’s reputation amongst all its stakeholders.
CJAM is already supporting ELSA with committee meetings and accounts, registering the association for VAT, among other undertakings. Additionally, full secretariat services, membership services, website content management and organisation of the annual symposium will be provided on an ongoing basis.
Managing Director of CJAM, Christine Joyce, said: “We’ve been talking to ELSA for some months about their very specific requirements, goals and objectives and have shown that we understand the landscape that they are working in and can complement their team with our expertise.
“We always take a flexible approach to every client account, offering a bespoke selection of services precisely tailored to individual needs. This practise, together with our demonstrable knowledge and reputation, is regarded as a great benefit but we see it as essential to delivering continuous high quality that not only meets but exceeds expectations.”
Alec Taylor, Chairman of ELSA, said: “CJAM is clearly a growing organisation, independent and with a good range of existing association clients. They are highly experienced and professional and were able to offer favourable reviews of their services as well as offering the opportunity to ‘pick and mix’ these. All in all, they seemed an excellent fit for ELSA.”
