October is Tyre Safety Month, and CJAM works in partnership with TyreSafe, the leading UK tyre safety charity, to coordinate, create and distribute a range of marketing and campaign materials to drive home core tyre safety messages and drive behaviour change.
CJAM have chosen local children’s charity, Wipe Away Those Tears as their 2019 supported charity. We have kicked off our fundraising efforts with a £500 donation ahead of UK Charity Week, which starts on December 3rd.
The CJAM team has been touched by the story behind Wipe Away Those Tears, and are continually moved by their ongoing incredible efforts to transform the lives of local families with children affected by life limiting or life threatening diseases.
Founded in 2006 by a Brentwood couple, Wipe Away Those Tears helps children and their families that live in Essex find moments of happiness, sparkle and joy during desperate and seemingly hopeless times.
The charity is staffed entirely by volunteers, which means they have no overhead or administration costs and every penny raised by CJAM in the coming year will go towards helping local children and their families.
Managing Director, Christine Joyce says:
“With an office full of parents and grandparents, we feel privileged to be able to nominate Wipe Away Those Tears as our charity and hope that the initial donation of £500 will go some way to help provide an experience or piece of equipment for a family in need of that little something extra.”
We will pledge to continue to raise funds and awareness for this wonderful cause throughout 2019 with a range of fun, weird, tasty and energetic fundraising activities, and look forward to finding out about how our efforts could help change lives.
