The virtual events team at CJAM worked with the client to promote, host and coordinate the first in the series, providing technical support and administrative services to ensure the event went successfully.
Last week, the CJAM events team worked with the Organisation Development Network Europe (ODNE) to manage and run an action-packed, much anticipated three-day virtual conference, uniting esteemed international keynote speakers and addresses hot topics at the heart of Organisation Development. The event ran with parallel tracks across the world, welcoming 225 delegates.
The event utilised the conference platform Whova and hosted delegates from around the world in one easy to access, customised online location. From 10am through to 8pm each day, delegates enjoyed a full programme of talks and panel discussions with the option to customise their experience using their own agenda, calendar and profile. With sessions dedicated to Organisational Development in Asia, Romania, Bulgaria, Scotland, Spain, Portugal and beyond, delegates could immerse themselves in a truly global experience, directly addressing topics from healthcare and children through to Imposter Syndrome, interspersed with networking opportunities and sponsor exposure.
The conference theme ‘Community’ was central to discussion, outlining the difference between communities and cults, building communities using design thinking and developing community through practice-based learning. ODNE welcomed guest speakers from Vodafone, the NHS and other businesses with OD at the heart of their processes.
The CJAM events team assisted with the build-up, launch and running of the conference, which was hugely successful, adapting to new ways of connecting during the COVID-19 pandemic. The marketing and design team created web assets to support the promotion of the conference, with seamless booking systems and strategic data capture. Work will now continue to build life-long partnerships and memberships off the back of the event.
